Happy New Year!
Just wonderin', anybody got any resolutions? If that's a thing people do here, anyway. For the past year, man, I goofed off real bad and my trainer back home woulda really let me hear it. So this year, I'm gonna concentrate on my trainin' more. And my Pokemons' trainin' too! Startin' today! I'm gonna start takin' this badge thing real serious.

What about you guys? Any resolutions?

_{[To start his and his Pokemons' training again, Mac can be found in the areas around Goldenrod jogging, battling wild Pokemon or even sparring with his Hitmonchan. Feel free to run into him!]}

[The feed clicks on to the familiar (to some anyway) sound of...chewing. Apparently another Pokemon has gotten ahold of someone's gear. However when the video blips on something doesn't seem quite right. Those who are very familiar with Pokemon may notice that these teeth don't seem very...Pokemon-y. After a few minutes the gear is dropped and anyone watching will catch sight of one Gastly-possessed Little Mac in a pair of wolf ears and some ripped up clothes. As his Hitmonchan approaches him, clearly having had enough of this bullshit and intent on punching him in the face, Mac growls before escaping, running off on all fours.]

((OOC: Replies will come later this afternoon and any video replies will come from his Pokemon. Feel free to run into Mac tearing around Route 35 and maybe even just inside Goldenrod, at any point during the day/night, snapping and snarling at anyone he comes across, be they human or Pokemon.))

_{[The feed blips on and shows Mac grinning the goofiest grin. He holds up what may be a familiar object:

Hey! Hey, guys, check it out! Heh heh, we did it! We beat the gymleader! All that trainin' we did really paid off!

_{[He turns his camera towards his Pokemon, who give up a cheer of their own. Even Rocky seems unusually happy. Or at least, he's not scowling for once.]}

Yeah, you all did real good today! Oh! Uh, and...

_{[He turns the camera back again, his smile just a little smaller than it was a moment ago.]}

If, uh, if anybody knew a guy named Mordecai...I think he went home. Checked my box after the match to give Edward a rest for a while and found some Pokemon he told me he had. Tried to call him and...Well. You know. Just...lettin' anyone who knew him know.

_{[His smile falters entirely for the briefest of moments, before he turns toward his Pokemon, grinning again.]}

I...I think I'm gonna challenge the gymleader again soon. We didn't do so good last time, but we got a lot of real good trainin' and I worked real hard to learn a lot o' stuff. My Pokemon n' I are just tryin' to get in a little more trainin' before we challenge him, though.

...I'm actually a little nervous, y'know? Heh heh, it kinda feels like a match back home. A kinda mix o' nervous n' excited all at the same time!

Oh, uh...before I forget! It shoulda taken a real long time to get to Violet from Goldenrod, right? 'Cause I was in Goldenrod like, last week or somethin' n' when I woke up the other day, I was a day or so outside of Violet. Does stuff like that just happen here or what? And I thought that uh, a...a buddy o' mine was still here, but...

But when I woke up, I tried callin' him and I still couldn't get hold of him...

Musta been some kinda crazy dream or somethin', right?

_{[His shoulders slump a little.]}

...We're gonna do our best to beat the gymleader. We've got a disadvantage as far as types go, but I think we can do it this time! _{[Mac grins a determined little grin and the feed shuts off.]}

Hey, maybe it's just me, but does it feel like it ain't takin' real long to get anywhere? I mean, I ain't been joggin' for long, but I've already been through Azalea... Maybe I'm just makin' real good time or somethin'! I mean, maybe it ain't really all that far from Violet to Goldenrod, after all!

We challenged the Gymleader today, and...Well, we...

Man, we got mowed down like grass. _{[An indiginant "Loom!" from offscreen.]} Oh, uh...no offense, Chuck. _{["Skipskip."]}

I knew we'd be in for a tough battle, but...Man! Even Joe here was totally freaked the whole time. _{[The camera pans down to a nearby Spinarak, who skitters away a little at the sudden attention.]} I guess a bug would be scared of a bird, though. And his butt's been totally frowny all day. _{[He zooms in on the pattern on Joe's abdomen, which is currently in the shape of a huge frowny face.]}

And Rocky's...

Uh.

He ain't takin' this loss so well. He was real confident goin' in to it, but...he's kinda depressed, I think. I...kinda get how he feels. A loss like that can really take it outta ya. Y'know? Especially after workin' as hard as he did.

But, uh, anyway, anybody got any trainin' methods they think would help besides battlin'? Maybe if I can get him back out there, he'll start feelin' better. Usually works for me, anyway.

_{[Hello, Johto. You know how it's raining like nutso crazy out? Guess ducked out of the rain by going into Sprout Tower? Chuck the Hoppip has taken to playing with the gear, while Mac and Rocky stare outside, a little bored.]}

Geez. We just got here like, yesterday and we can't even do nothin'. I guess it was nice to find out from that lady at the Pokemon center that you ain't a girl after all. ...Sorry.

We're gonna have to go out into that rain, eventually. No big deal! I mean, it couldn't hurt that much to jog out in the rain a little, could it?

_{[At that moment, there's a loud thunderclap and a flash of lightning, just before the rain starts to come down even harder, if that's even possible.]}

Do these Pokégear things break real easy or what? I was gonna call that Kuwabara guy to see if he wanted to battle again, but it said his 'gear wasn't "in service." What's that about? Rock was lookin' forward to battling his Tyrogue again.

It's kinda cool, y'know? I didn't think Rock would end up bein' a boxer! I think we'll get along real good now.

Then again, I thought Rock was a guy. Maybe that's why he...uh...she...?

I think I'm gettin' used to this Pokemon thing...and I think Rocky is really startin' to warm up to me. He ain't taken a swing at me in like...a whole day or somethin'! _{[He looks away from the camera for second.]} We're gettin' to be real buddies, huh, Rock?
